Volunteering
Canadian Hearts and Hands is a great way to get both physically and spiritually involved in changing people’s lives and bringing the presence of Christ into an entire community’s heart. A lot of time is spent with the people in the community, and those who volunteer develop a special bond which is formed in spirit. If you would like to get involved in our upcoming events,
As part of our special mandate of service without borders, we not only serve in foreign asignments but in our local communities as well. Deeply close to our hearts is our work with St. Vincent’s Kitchen in Oshawa. St. Vincent’s work in ministering to the needs of the community is very much in keeping with the purpose of Canadian Hearts and Hands. We are proud and honoured to work with St. Vincent in their ministry. Every first Sunday of the month, volunteers from across the GTA serve meals at the kitchen. In conjunction to our work in Oshawa, we are also currently working with the Good Shepherd Mission in downtown Toronto. Our volunteers help with making and packing of meals at the centre.
